Finally showing this here too. Whee.
I'm taking part in ~nathie's Nightwing contest at y! ^^

My take of Nightwing is a grumpy forest-burning winged smoker pyromaniac guy ^^ I was going to give him tattoos but then it didn't work out, it looked better without.

And I wanted to draw wings. Nightwing seemed to be a perfect victim for my wing-practice ^^;

So, here he is. :heart:

The background is a helluvamessy mix of different textures, brushes and strange experiments with Photoshop (almost 60 layers of them, bwaah) XP
The character, the wings and hair and everything was painted in OpenCanvas 4.

Sorry if Nightwing is too thin. I like drawing thin boys, heee ^^

hehe well nice done but I´ve always seen angels as innocent but with that cigg in his mouth.. KRACK... not my picture of an angel
But if we skip that, i like your picture A LOT. The wings turned out nicely and the sun makes it really realistic. I love his face there, like he look down on someone... and the hair is love too! Yay for dark long hair! <3 the bakground just adds more to the "not innocent" act... hehe...brilliant

Who ever said he was an angel? ;) He has dark wings that would indicate more to a demon than an angel, but actually he is neither.

Though it would make him a little colorless, I think his wings should be the same color as either his hair, his skin, or his eyes. Right now they kind of stick out and look out of place. Just a suggestion though, knowing I could never even come near to match your skill. Lovely piece. Wish you luck!
